The Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) was appointed as the Authorised Nomination Body (ANB) under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (SOPA) in 2005.
Over the years, SMC has undertaken several thought-leadership initiatives and has been engaging construction industry professionals including architects, developers, engineers and project managers in the private and public sectors.
The Covid-19 pandemic has brought difficult and challenging times for the construction industry. With the easing of restrictions in Singapore, SMC is committed to staging the 3rd National Conference on Construction Adjudication (NCCA) on Friday, 8 July 2022 at Conrad Centennial Singapore, themed “Security of Payment Act in Transforming Industry”.
The Keynote Address will be delivered by Mr Tan Kiat How, Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information & Ministry of National Development.
