It is with great pleasure to announce that the 24th CBMC Asia Pacific (APAC) Convention is to take place in Macau, China, from the 23rd to the 26th of October 2024.

Since its inception in 1974 by CBMC Korea, the CBMC Asia and Pacific (APAC) Convention have been held in various countries and cities across Asia once every two years. Due to the disruption and travel prohibition caused by COVID pandemic, the previous Convention was held successfully in Tokyo by CBMC Japan, facilitating both physical meetings for the local members and online connection for overseas attendants. The last physical gathering took place in Cambodia in 2019. Following a five-year hiatus, CBMC Macau is honored to host the 24th Convention, promising a memorable and joyous experience for all the CBMC APAC partners, delegates and friends.

The Organizing Committee of CBMC Macau is dedicated to designing the Convention brimming with impactful teachings, witnessing, revelations and demonstrations of power. Our goal is to enable each delegate to derive benefits from practical gems, divine wisdom and spiritual enrichment of the Convention.

The theme of the upcoming Convention is “New Voyage - Marketplace Culture and Succession”, inspired by the promise found in Genesis 28:14 which states, “Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.” Central to CBMC’s mission are evangelism and discipleship in the marketplace. There is no other task nobler on earth than to serve the King of kings and the Lord of lords. As business and professional Christians, gathering wealth is merely a natural outcome of this mission. In other words, God’s blessings can be derived by performing this mission. Matthew 6:33 reminds us, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well”, emphasizing the importance of our priorities. By embracing this insight and immersing yourself in a collaborative environment, this Convention will revolutionize aspects of your family, career, business, and workplaces - a new voyage awaits us in our lives. FAQs on Registration 

Q1. If I want to be a volunteer to serve, should I simply tick YES?

A1. Volunteers are accepted on a pre-invitation basis. So, you should tick NO if you have not been confirmed the invitation. 

Q2. If I am a volunteer, am I not be exempt from paying Admission fee? 

A2. All volunteers are required to pay full Admission fee. 

Q3. If I accidentally chose the offline payment and the registration is completed, can I log in to edit it if I subsequently want to select online payment? 

A3. Once the registration is completed offline, you cannot log in to change to online payment. You will only pay the fees via bank Telegraphic Transfer (TT) directly to the designated bank account of CBMC Macau, which you will receive an invoice in the email for confirmation. Please send the receipt of payment to cbmcmacau@gmail.com to confirm the payment for the registration.

Q4. Am I allowed to register for more than one person?

A4. Yes, the system should automatically provide extra boxes to fill in the names of each delegate individually. You can book up to 5 different individual delegates at one time. This will link to print individual name tag upon check-in at the Convention arrival desk. The system will automatically calculate the total fees payable online.

Q5. Am I allowed to pay offline for a number of delegates?

A5. Yes, this can only be done by bank Telegraphic Transfer (TT) from your country to the designated bank account of CBMC Macau. You must send the full list of payees and bank transfer payment receipt to the Organizer’s designated email cbmcmacau@gmail.com) for confirmation. 

Q6. Are the tours included in the convention ticket, and do I need to participate?

A6. The tours offered during the event are not compulsory and are not included in the standard convention ticket. During the registration process, you can sign up for these tours on the add-on page. Additionally, there will be an on-site tour booth available for final sign-ups during the event. However, please note that tour availability is limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend signing up early to secure your spot.

Q7. What does the HKD 4,000 registration fee for the APAC Conference cover?

A7. The HKD 4,000 fee covers not only the registration but also a comprehensive package of:

• 23 October: Welcome Dinner
• 24 October: Morning Break with refreshments, Lunch Buffet, Afternoon Break with refreshments, and Dinner Buffet
• However, we do have to inform you that this fee does not cover any hotel or transportation cost.

Q8. What is the registration process for the APAC Conference, including details on starting with registration, followed by hotels and transportation arrangements?

A. Registration Process:

1. Conference Registration: Register for the APAC Conference by paying the HKD 4,000 fee through the EventX website.
2. Hotel Booking: Upon completing your registration, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link for hotel bookings. It is crucial to use the link provided in this email to access discounted room rates.
3. Transportation: After registering and securing your hotel, the final step is to arrange your transportation, such as flights.
4. Arrivals Coordination: Upon your arrival in Macau, CBMC teams will be on standby at multiple arrival points to assist you. This ensures a smooth start to your experience at the APAC Conference.

FAQs on Hotel Accommodation 

Q1. If I cannot find someone to share my room, can the Organizer help to find the sharer? 

A1. The Organizer would not help to find the hotel room sharer and advise the delegates to find their known sharers. The Organizer cannot afford to take any risk of trouble or lost properties as a result. 

Q2. Is the room rate breakfast inclusive?

A2. Both hotels room rate are breakfast inclusive. 

Important Note for Couples Booking King Rooms: For couples who have booked the King Room, please be aware that the included breakfast is for one person only. If both individuals require breakfast, an additional breakfast ticket will need to be purchased which cost HKD 95 + 10% per person.

Q3. Can I have late hotel checkout?

A3. You have to request late checkout directly at the hotel check-in reception by yourself.

Q4. I want to book outside the event dates, is it available?

A4. Currently we only have the hotel rooms on the event dates from 22-26 October 2024 however if you want to book outside of the event dates, please book the room first via the reservation link then contact cbmcmacau@gmail.com to arrange booking for outside the event dates.

Q5. How can I book my hotel accommodation for the event?

A5. Once you have successfully registered and completed your payment for the event, you will receive a ticket confirmation email. This email will include a special booking link for hotel accommodations. Please use this link to secure your room at the designated event hotels. If you do not receive the confirmation email after registering, please check your spam folder or contact our support team for assistance.

Cancellation Policy - (after deducting administrative and transactional fees)

• From registration - 15 August: 90% refund

• ⁠16 - 31 August: 75% refund 

• ⁠1 - 15 September: 50% refund 

• ⁠16 - 30 September: 25% refund

• After 1 October 2024: No refund will be made

• Force Majeure: Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis in the event of extraordinary circumstances.
