The Ninth Annual Meeting of the New Development Bank will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, on August 29-31, 2024.
Under the theme of “Investing in a Sustainable Future,” the Ninth Annual Meeting will provide a platform for discussion on how the NDB, in collaboration with national governments, the private sector, civil society, and other development institutions, can strengthen its capacity to promote sustainable projects in emerging markets and developing countries.
In addition to the esteemed Ministers of Finance from NDB member countries delivering their addresses during the Opening Ceremony, we anticipate the participation of national and local government representatives, leaders from multilateral and national development institutions, distinguished scholars, prominent commercial bankers, business leaders, media and representatives of civil society organizations.
Following the Opening Ceremony, several Seminars will be held and are expected to enable a productive exchange of knowledge, lessons and ideas under the broad theme of “Investing in a Sustainable Future”. The detailed Programme for the event will be made available in due course.
The Ninth Annual Meeting of the New Development Bank will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
