The International Talent Taiwan Office is a project office sponsored by the National Development Council to assist in the recruitment of foreign talent in Taiwan. At this event, our guest speaker will clarify the legalese and background of the employment and immigration regulations that apply to foreign professionals working in Taiwan. He will also talk about the latest policies, targets, and direction of the government's recruitment initiatives. The information presented will be relevant to ECCT member companies who want to hire foreigners, both from within Taiwan or from abroad, from graduating students to professionals to company executives. The event will also offer an opportunity for members and guests to provide first-hand feedback to the government on the job market and how the government can better adapt its recruitment initiatives to benefit employers.
About the speaker
Jonathan Liao is the Managing Director of the International Talent Taiwan Office and the Taiwan Employment Gold Card Office, a national-level service centre initiated by the National Development Council to recruit and retain foreign talent in Taiwan. A serial entrepreneur, Jonathan is also the CEO of FutureWard, a startup resource management company dedicated to helping entrepreneurs navigate the challenges of scaling their businesses. Jonathan spent several years studying and working in the United States and the UK before returning to Taiwan 15 years ago.
