The Foundation is delighted to announce the fourth edition of the ASEAN Film Festival, featuring over 30 acclaimed films from various countries, running from 20 August 2026 to 27 September 2026.
On behalf of Mr Daryl Ng, Foundation Chairman, it is my utmost pleasure to cordially invite you to attend the Opening Night of the ASEAN Film Festival 2026, which will take place on 20 August 2026 at the Hong Kong Palace Museum
The Opening Night includes the Opening Ceremony of ASEAN Film Festival 2026, followed by a screening of "Song of the Fireflies" from the Philippines. A separate registration is needed for this screening, accessible here.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Presented by the Hong Kong-ASEAN Foundation Limited (‘Foundation’), the ASEAN Film Festival (‘Festival’) is a not-for-profit platform showcasing films from ASEAN countries to promote cultural exchanges and mutual understanding through the medium of film.
- The submission timing for this registration form is determined by the server's receipt of the submitted registration. Late submission will not be accepted.
- One (1) person per ticket regardless of age. Welcome audiences aged 8 and above.
- Tickets must not be sold and cannot be exchanged for cash or other item.
- Personal information provided by the registrants will be used only for communication, processing registration and ticket arrangements for the Festival, and will be processed solely by the Foundation and the screening venue and their appointed agent(s). All personal information will be deleted within 60 days following the closure of the Festival.
- All persons and items may be subject to security checks at the Hong Kong Palace Museum (‘Museum’) entrances and within the Museum. The Museum reserves the right not to allow any item they deem inappropriate to be brought into the Museum.
- No food, drink or chewing gum in the screening venue.
- By participating in the Festival activity, the participant unconditionally and irrevocably agrees without compensation to allow the Foundation to take his/her photos and videos at or during the activity for marketing or publicity purpose. The participant will not acquire any ownership, copyright, or right to use such materials.
- Participants shall abide by the terms and conditions of the screening venue which are available for information on the official website of the Museum.
- The Foundation and the screening venue reserve the absolute right to decline entry to latecomers or to determine an appropriate entry time and method, and to refuse entry or request the departure of any participant who fails to comply with these terms and conditions or behaves inappropriately in the activity, without liability. For safety reasons, the Foundation and the screening venue reserve the right to restrict participant's access to the activity.
- The Foundation and the screening venue reserve the right to cancel or change the screening schedule without prior notice.
- The Foundation reserves the right to amend, modify or alter these Terms and Conditions at any time. In case of any disputes, the Foundation shall have the right of final decision.
