With the rapid advancement of technology, innovative technologies have had observable effects on traditional educational practices worldwide. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, technology has dramatically expanded the possibilities for teaching and learning, providing educators with new pedagogies and strategies, as well as innovative learning environments for students with diverse learning needs.

Against the backdrop of a fast-advancing technological world, we are delighted to have Professor Yike Guo, Vice-President (Research and Development) cum Dean of HKBU’s Graduate School, as the keynote speaker of the plenary session to give us some insights on the convergence of arts and technology which has ushered into a new era of art technology (Art-Tech), disrupting how humans create, receive, and respond to arts and culture.

In addition to the plenary, various faculties/schools/academy of HKBU will host parallel sessions with interesting topics, with an aim to bring fruitful and engaging discussion for all participants. There will be nine parallel sessions, covering the following topics:

  • Technology, Privacy, Learning and Teaching
