Dear Participants,
Welcome to the exhibition. Please make sure you have your earphones with you in order to explore sounds being panned to the sides.
The exhibition narrates the story of a girl, Ruby, with single-sided deafness. She is now 21 and she lost her hearing when she was a baby with unknown reason. The three parts of the exhibition represents 3 different stages of Ruby, where you may experience the inner world of a half-deaf person with a fusion of music and visual arts. All the drawings were created by Ruby.
The first part “驟變 Abrupt" represents the childhood of Ruby. The second part "沉沒 Sink" represents the experience of Ruby from teenage till now, in which she has been suffering from depression disorder. The third part "我 Consummate" is a blessing for Ruby in the future.
Special thanks to Ruby, David and his team, Franco and Eva, HoiYan, Jakin and Saki for creating the wonderful artworks.

歡迎蒞臨參觀展覽，由於展覽涉及左右耳之聲音效果，參觀展覽時請務必配戴耳機，以達致最佳參觀體驗。
本展覽講述一位左耳失聰的女孩——Ruby，在至今21年的人生中所經歷的故事。Ruby在兒時因為一次意外導致左耳聽力受損，其後完全喪失左耳聽力。展覽分為三個主要部分，分別代表Ruby三個階段的故事，當中參加者們可以透過音樂配合視覺藝術，進入一位聽障女孩的內心世界。
第一部分「驟變」講述Ruby兒時得到失聰的故事；第二部分「沉沒」講述Ruby在青年時期經歷的情緒低谷，以及有關抑鬱症的故事；第三部分「我」是筆者對Ruby未來的祝福。
