Synopsis:
The past three decades (indeed the period since WW2) have been characterized by globalization. The benefits are apparent. At the same time, ‘fault lines’ have developed which are now coming to the fore.
This seminar will:
i) Identify the underlying fundamentals of globalization
ii) Introduce the ‘fault lines’ that developed
iii) Discuss the consequences of movements in the fault lines
iv) Discuss the outlook for the future
This seminar builds on the macroeconomic framework developed in the EMBA Global Macroeconomics class. Therefore, it is open to alumni only.
