The ceremony brings together the leaders that direct their businesses towards a sustainable Sri Lanka that encourages minimizing the usage of single-use plastics and recognizes champions from all aspects including Individuals, SME businesses, Small to large-scale industries and sectors, Hoteliers, Media organizations, Entrepreneurs, Universities, Schools and all the other organizations with a shared mission of eliminating plastic pollution and reducing the usage of single-use plastic in order to create a behavioral change among citizens. Founded by ZeroPlastic Movement in 2022, the ZeroPlastic Excellence Awards is an environmental award ceremony, celebrating innovation, capabilities, and activism tackling a range of UN SDG Goals.
