About AmCham’s Annual General Meeting

The AmCham Annual General Meeting is held on November, 21st (Tuesday). It is the chance for our community to come together to review the triumphs (and challenges) of the past year and look ahead to the coming one. It also serves for you to elect your leadership and the Board of Governors, and ensure that your Chamber meets its quorum to complete our governance obligations.

*Please kindly note that the maximum number of registrants per company is 3. This event does NOT accept walk-in guests.

本次會議將於11月21日星期二舉行。這是一個讓大家凝聚在一起，回顧過去一年的成就與挑戰，並展望未來的機會。同時，您也將有機會透過選舉，選出我們的領導者和董事會成員，且確保商會達到投票所需之法定人數，以完成商會的治理職責。

About the Speaker

Dr. Morris Chang 張忠謀博士

Founder of TSMC 台積電創辦人

Dr. Morris Chang founded Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC) in 1987, served as its Chairman for 31 years, and its CEO for many of those 31 years. Dr. Chang retired from TSMC in June 2018. TSMC pioneered the dedicated silicon foundry business model and has served as a powerful force of innovation in the information industry.

Dr. Chang is a Member of National Academy of Engineering (U.S.A.), a Laureate of the Industrial Technology Research Institute (Taiwan), a Life Member Emeritus of MIT Corporation (U.S.A.), and Fellow of the Computer History Museum (U.S.A.).

張忠謀博士於 1987 年創立台灣積體電路製造股份有限公司（台積電），擔任董事長達 31 年，其中多年亦擔任總裁，並於 2018 年六月退休。台積電不但首創專業積體電路製造服務之經營模式，也是促成全球資訊產業創新的重要力量。

張博士是美國國家工程學院院士、2012 年第一屆「工業技術研究院院士」、美國麻省理工學院終身榮譽理事，及美國電腦歷史博物館院士。
