We warmly invite you to the four day business and family event aimed at reuniting Greater China and Thunderbird alumni in the city of Chengdu, one of the fastest growing cities in China and home of the Panda. With a brand new international airport, Tianfu Airport has direct flights to many cities across Asia and Europe or a short two hour flight from Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. As of Jan 8th 2023, the 144-hour visa free transit has resumed allowing tourists to visit Chengdu and 10 nearby prefectures provided that the traveler visits a third country on their continuing journey.
Get a sense of China's explosive growth across automotive, high tech, manufacturing and start-ups. The four day program tentatively includes:
• Dean Sanjeev Khagram will host the keynote and this will be one of his last events before stepping down at the end of the academic year.
• Tour Chengdu's City Planning Exhibit and visit high tech park featuring electric vehicles, technology and start-ups
• Hear from alumni, industry experts and sponsors on a variety of topics including but not limited to e-commerce, ESG and sustainability, global manufacturing, real-estate, and trade
We welcome everyone to bring their family, friends and business associates to the Summit featuring company visits, discussion panels, and keynote speakers and enjoy the weekend visiting the many cultural landmarks in and around Chengdu.
