Black Point
Power Station is one of the world’s largest gas-fired combined-cycle power
stations installed with 8 GE F-Class Combined Cycled Gas Turbine Units and 2
Siemens H-Class Combined Cycled Gas Turbine Units. It uses
ultra-low-sulphur diesel as a backup fuel source.
Black Point Power Station is Hong Kong's
first natural gas-fired power station which is serving one-third of Hong
Kong’s power demand now.

generation process, the diverse fuel mix strategies, the latest renewable
energy technologies, and CLP’s roles and responsibilities in road to Zero
