Prof. Paul Kitney, Masterclass “Trumponomics v 2.0 - Is it a harbinger for inflation resurgence or a catalyst for a stronger economy and healthier financial markets?"

The re-election of Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States is bringing about a sea change in US policy from geopolitics to economics. Trump has advocated tax cuts, mass deportation of illegal immigrants, has enacted large tariff increases and has threatened the independence of the US monetary authority and World's most influential central bank, the Federal Reserve. In this masterclass, gently introducing some basic macroeconomic concepts and a minimalist approach to theory, we will analyze the impact of Trump's major policies - enacted and planned - on the US and Global economy. We will answer the question above whether these sets of policies are likely to lead to another inflation shock and briefly explain the likely implications for key asset markets.

Join us for an insightful Masterclass with Prof. Paul Kitney as he unpacks "Trumponomics 2.0" and its potential impact on the global asset market. Delve into the pressing issue of inflation resurgence and uncover its implications for investors and economies worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to gain expert perspectives on how economic policies may shape financial landscapes.
